Calmline has no accounts, no servers and no analytics. We do not collect your personal data, because the app contains no way to transmit it.
With your permission, Calmline reads the following from Apple Health on your iPhone and Apple Watch:
This data is read, scored and stored only on your devices. It is never transmitted anywhere. Calmline contains no networking code, no third-party SDKs, no advertising identifiers and no crash or analytics reporting.
When you complete a breathing session, Calmline writes it to Apple Health as a Mindful Session. That is the only thing it ever writes. You can revoke this at any time in Health → Sharing → Apps.
Your stress history is kept in a shared container on your device, readable only by Calmline and its Apple Watch app and widgets. It is included in your encrypted device backup if you have one. Deleting the app deletes this data. You can also erase it at any time in Settings → Clear Stress History, which does not affect Apple Health.
Calmline can export your full history as CSV or JSON from Settings. The export is produced on your device and shared only where you choose to send it.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Calmline never sees your payment details. We receive no personal information from Apple beyond whether an active subscription exists on your Apple Account, which is checked on device by the operating system.
Calmline is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone, of any age.
If this policy changes materially, the updated date above will change and the revised policy will be published here before the change takes effect in the app.
